Our rules and principles to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all members
We never sell, share, or trade attendee lists. Badge scanning and lead generation are strictly prohibited. What happens at the Society stays in the Society, unless you choose otherwise.
Speaking slots and opportunities within the Society are earned through merit, not sponsorship. We don't sell talking time. All content goes through an open, transparent review process.
Engage, don't just observe. Respect the diversity of voices and experiences. We are a "safe haven" for hackers, developers, and thinkers to experiment without judgment.
Macky's Society remains an independent community movement. We do not run "joint" events that compromise our core mission of independent peer-to-peer learning.
We strive to keep participation free or at a nominal cost. Financial barriers should never stop a curious mind from joining the Society.
The Society brand represents trust and quality. Any member or chapter using the name must adhere to these global steering guidelines to maintain the community's reputation.
If you have questions about these guidelines or need to report a violation, please contact our community moderators.
